The Golden Rule?
Rumor has it that after years of degrading intellectual upgrades in our lifestyles, some of US are no longer "the sharpest tool in the shed"
Yet, to date, we'll shed pounds but not lies-- as if, 0 grams of trans fat, not an ounce of truth & tons of money or troubles. No-thanks to our experts, they've engineered an entire industry around love, beauty, money & weight loss, while loss of integrity, sanctity, fidelity, virginity & all other vital signs of life are no longer vital. By now, it is more than obvious Who's Who, What, When, Where & Why the Golden Rule has become almost obsolete or overruled! As such, it's becoming irreverent & irrelevant whether God is the Father of all Truth or the Devil is the Father of all Lies. For most of US, religion had to be put on backorder because of con-fusion within social trends, laws & demands. Consequently, those of US who choose a religious way of life are becoming dangerously lax about our buddy system--instead of God or Jesus being our steady companion, we tend to leave Him home alone. He's often locked up in the closet, the attic or the basement--now more than ever, statues, statutes & commandments do not fit with our agenda nor dιcor--because some of us decided that God or Jesus is no longer a good fit for US, we still wear crosses but NOW we're our own bosses, not God. As such, while many of US dis God, others distance themselves from God out of reverence--both are wrong & superficial without ever experiencing the joy of true grace & love of life. Those of US who are not into religion are in a similar fix--whether our sharpest tool is school or a body part, a pet, a car, a house or a diploma, it's not our heart or mind. All con-versions of life mostly focus on physical needs--while we seem very meticulous about grooming, housequeening, childcare, work, sports & entertainment, we place very little emphasis on "the content of our character." After years of being forced to fit into a very corrupt society, a path of least resistance will always lead to dysfunction. It's so hazardous that one of our experts urges women not to become "garbage cans for men's insecurities" and other vices. Since our children get all the cues from adults, children are at risk just as women. One would think that some men have a lot of explaining to do--they've taken US to the moon & back but can't get a fix on integrity or fidelity--can't or won't? Tragically, most religious & secular pros add insult to injury by staying disconnected from the cruel faith to which they have enslaved US! Until our coaches resolve major discrepancies between modern psychology & traditional or religious anthropology, "hope, faith & love" will remain on backorder. While Senator Clinton speaks of REAL solutions instead of band-aids, merely addressing physical health care will only make US stronger to endure more brutal abuse or violations. Since con-fusion, cheating & insults to our intelligence have been obvious yet untouchable for years, most of us no longer have an honest chance at life while our children's chances are slim to none! By now, abuse & crime come in all sizes, genders & races--black on black, white on white, men on women, women on men, men on men, women on woman, parents on children, children on parents, children on children & other lethal mixtures. "Before crime is committed, conscience must be corrupted." Loss of Innocence or Stolen Vows--by now, Mr. & Mrs. Danger are Stranger than Fiction! |

From the beginning of civilization, men have dominated or shaped the lives of most women, children & society. Having men as natural leaders is good & as it should be--so is the love & need of most women & children for the men in their lives. Sadly, due to the collision between modern & traditional values, roles & lives of men, women or children are now very cloudy and often, dangerous! Oddly, when a woman asks her man to change, "all hell breaks loose"--naturally, allergic reactions to personal change or truth are nothing new--women & children have them too. Yet, when it comes to politics, change is part of the process. The proof is in our history as well as Senator Obama's current call for Change We Can Believe In. Can Senator Obama change a nation if he can't change his pastor? Was it wrong for some Catholics & others to embrace Rev. Wright before he apologized? Who needs to change? US or the US? |
